FAQ'S

Most of our dogs walks will take place in the gorgeous New Forest. We tailor our walks dependent on weather and each dogs preference. On the occasional hot days we will make sure we stay in the shade and near water so they can have a splash to stay cool. We try to stick to rural tracks to avoid distraction from other dogs or walkers. Wherever we go, we will ensure that your dog has a great time taking in new scents and enjoying the adventure.

Absolutely, we can take your dog on a short lead walk around their local area. This can help them stretch their legs or have a quick toilet stop while you’re out for the day. We will return them back to your home, give them a cuddle, check their water bowl and send you a pup-date.

Yes, but only once I have written consent from the owner and have assessed the dog has reliable recall. Your dogs safety is the most important factor to us, so on our initial walks together I will use a long line or lead to keep your dog safe. Once I have built up a relationship with them and have assessed their recall, they will then be allowed off the lead if the owner is happy for me to do so.

Please use the “Contact Me” form on the contact page or email me at info@hollys-happyhounds.com. From here,  I will either email or call you to arrange our initial meeting. During this meeting I have a few forms for you to complete but most importantly this gives me a chance to meet your lovely pooch and get to know them before our very first walk together.

We know it is a big deal trusting someone to walk your beloved companion, so I do offer an additional walk with yourself and the dog. This gives me a chance to see your dog in action and see how you usually work with them in a typical walking environment.
